Companion Program

The Companion Program is a great way to enjoy Halifax and it's attractions.


Cost: CAD$210. Includes SWIFT welcome package and entrance to all SWIFT social events listed below.
Activity admission fees (where applicable) and meals additional. You can choose what is of interest to you.

Tuesday, September 19


Companion Breakfast.  Lunenburg Room  


Bus to Peggy's Cove, explore and photo opportunities.  Reservations for lunch at 12:30 at Sou'Wester at Companion's expense.

Board bus back to the city and stop at the Public Gardens.  Tour Gardens and take bus back to hotel. 
 Tuesday Evening Team Eagle Customer Appreciation Night - includes refreshments. Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia Brewery. See main program for details.

Wednesday, September 20

Bus wine tour and lunch to Annapolis Valley with Grape Escapes. Cost of the tour is $115+tax=$132.25.  Cost includes bus, guided tour and wine tastings at three wineries and lunch with wine.  Space is limited to 14 people.

Thursday, September 21




City Tour - Board the bus and take a ride to Citadel Hill, National Historic Site.  Guided tour approximately one hour. 

Bus to Maritime Museum of the Atlantic highlighting Nova Scotia's rich Maritime heritage, Titanic display, boat building, Halifax Explosion and shipwrecks.  Tour cost $8 + tax

Reservations at Murphy's on the Wharf.  Walk along the waterfront boardwalk, approximately 1 km from Westin. 

Take a guided tour of Pier 21 Museum of Immigration.  Admission $8 for 1.5 hr guided tour.  Museum is about a block from Westin. 

Thursday Evening SWIFT Keynote Dinner   Includes keynote speaker and dinner valued at over $150/person.  See main SWIFT program for timing and location.
