A great way to enjoy Vancouver and all of its attractions.

Companion Program 


Cost: $225 CAD

Includes SWIFT welcome package and entrance to all SWIFT social events noted below.  Companion program activity admission fees (where applicable) and companion program meals additional.  You can pick and choose what is of interest to you. Pricing is based on 20 people per day, otherwise prices may increase slightly.  

The SWIFT Companion Program is a great way to explore Vancouver and enjoy some of the attractions the city has to offer. This year, each day will have a different theme: CITY, OCEAN and MOUNTAINS. 

The base program, which includes the SWIFT welcome package and entrance to all SWIFT social events, is $225 CAD + GST. The Companion Program activity admission fees and meals are additional. You can pick and choose the activities that are of interest to you. 

In order to secure the group pricing listed below, advance registration is required for several of the venues.

Monday, September 9

 Tuesday, September 10 – CITY

08:30am – 10:00am  Companion Breakfast

11:00am – 1:30pm   Granville Island is the second most visited destination in Canada – it is beloved by visitors and locals alike. Take a guided food tour through the iconic Granville Island Market, taste and learn about local fare. https://foodietours.ca/granville-island-market-tour/ ($66)

2:00 – 4:00pm   Spend the rest of afternoon rejuvenating in one of UBC’s spectacular gardens https://botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/visit/visitor-info-maps/ and/or exploring the incredible collection of art and artifacts in the Museum of Anthropology. https://moa.ubc.ca/visit/

Wednesday, September 11 – OCEAN

9:00 – 11:15am   Bus to the Vancouver Aquarium to explore the many displays that this award-winning aquarium has to offer https://www.vanaqua.org/ ($30.40)

 11:30am – 2:00pm  Enjoy lunch at the beautiful Teahouse in Stanley Park. https://www.vancouverdine.com/teahouse/($35)

·2:00pm – 4:00pm    Take some free time to sit by the ocean or stretch your legs and explore the park. https://www.tourismvancouver.com/activities/stanley-park/

 4:00pm      Bus back to hotel

Thursday, September 12 – MOUNTAINS

9:30am-10:30pm    Relax and enjoy the breath-taking views as the bus transports you to Squamish.

10:30am – 2:30pm  Choose one of the following activities:

o   Take a ride on the Sea to Sky gondola https://www.seatoskygondola.com/ ($35.16). Then enjoy lunch* at the Summit Lodge, which is 2900 feet above sea level.

*Lunch is not included in the price of the Sea to Sky gondola.

o   For those who don’t love heights, spend time in the town of Squamish, taking a stroll down Cleveland Avenue to shop, eat and drink the day away.

 2:30-4:00pm    Bus back to hotel.
